Website 2.0
20 February 2009
So here she is: the new Caffeine Monster Software website.
I started working on Website 2.0 for a pretty silly reason: the old site had a horizontal navigation bar and I started running out of room to add new games to it! I quickly redesigned the layout to have the vertical navigation bar you see now, but there’s more.
I’ve been updating the Twitter blog quite frequently, and yet, my Twitter feed isn’t connected to the website in any way. Also, while Twitter is a tonne of fun and very handy, sometimes 140 characters just doesn’t cut it. I’ve been meaning to write slightly longer posts about various issues, but haven’t really had anywhere to do so. So reason #2 for Website 2.0 is a lot more important: to create an easier means of communications between myself and you guys.
This blog is obviously a big part of that. I encourage you (yes, you!) to stay around, follow the RSS feed, and comment away. What do you lot think of Website 2.0?
Hopefully Website 2.0 won’t fall apart when I’m not looking. With this out of the way, I can shift all my attention back to development. Oh yeah, development! Stay tuned, I’ll be talking about what I’ve been working on very soon!
