The homestretch
4 March 2009
I’ve given myself a deadline. This is always dangerous. Around the middle of next week, I plan to be done working on Geomex. Following that, I’ll spend a week or two testing the heck out of it, and then finally, release it into the wild. If all goes to plan, it’ll be three to four weeks until I’m really done.
Progress is going well. Achievements have been named, tested, and tinkered with. There’s the one which I’m not convinced actually works like I want it to, but I’ll sort that out today. Online hiscores have been much trickier than I expected. Getting it up and running wasn’t bad, but the amount of things that can go wrong after that is astounding! I’m still not done either. Apart from further testing, I have “SQL query optimization” to work on, which is about as exciting as it sounds.
